Where the mind goes the man goes.
How you
think determines where you go and what happens in your life. Your way of
thinking determines what you do or don't do. It is your way of thinking that
governs the output of your life. And Satan’s strategy is to influence people's
thinking.
Different mindset
You will
either have a mindset of the Word or a mindset of the world. A word-mindset is
a mindset that is set by God's Word. A worldly mindset is a mindset that is set
by the world.
Romans 12:2
says "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God."
There is a
way God wants us to think. He wants our thinking to be consistent with his
word. And this can only happen through the process called RENEWING THE MIND. Through
this process we are able to change our thinking patterns and put on a new
mindset that perfectly lines up with God's word.
Renewing the
mind is letting the word change your thinking. And this has to be a lifestyle
if you want you to stay victorious over life's battles.
Walking in the word
"For
they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that
are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is
death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." Romans 8:5-6
Walking in
the spirit is walking in the Word. Waking in the flesh is contradicting or
disregarding the word.
The world
will do everything to make you think in a certain way. You will have to set
your mind by the word and keep it set. The enemy's goal is to get you conformed
to this world. So he can gain inroads into your life. The devil moves in the
realm of thought.
Thought creates actions
New actions
won't change your thinking. But new thinking will change old actions.
Like the law
of cause and effect. Our thoughts are causes, our conditions are effects.
Thoughts are powerful creative forces. Thoughts are the cause of our decision
and action. You will always behave the way you think. Because what you think determines what you do.
The way you think creates your world. That's why Satan seeks to influence people's
mind. Meanwhile, God has given us the material for renewing our mind. So we can
create the life that he has designed for us.
Secret of change
If you don't
overcome your difficulties or challenges first in your thought you can't
overcome them in actual experience.
The world is
divided into two classes. 1. Those who
overcome life. 2. Those that are overcome by life. Those who overcome
life's difficulties, do so in thought. Those who are overcome by life's
difficulties are those who do not overcome in thought.
Let's look
at what the scripture says in 1 John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh
the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our
faith."
When the
word of God becomes established in your thinking your life becomes unstoppable.
When you start thinking in line with whom God says you are, your life become unbeatable
