"And
there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of
Abraham...Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an
hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
And the man waxed
great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great." Genesis 26:1,
12-13
The word
famine means extreme scarcity. The scripture says "there was famine in the land" but Jacob followed
God's word and prospered.
Economic
dryness remains immaterial to what God can do in our lives. The world is
feeling the weight of economic hardship, but God has given us the secret to
flourish, even in what people called difficult times. The economic situation of
your country has no bearing on what God has in store for you.
No matter
where you are or what challenges you face, if you dare to believe God and just
act on His word, the possibilities are endless.
God's word
has a remedy for every situation. If only you will follow His instructions, it
will turn out well for you.
The bible
records that Isaac sowed in that land during the time of famine. That was a
very bold step of faith. The scriptures are there for our examples. If you have
seed you have hope. Your next level is in your seed.
Now he that
ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply
your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 2 Corinthians
9:10(KJV)
God gives
seed and bread. Many are not sowing the seed God gives them. They are eating
it. The seed and food is not the same thing. If you want to increase and
flourish don't eat your seed. Sow your seed.
He
multiplies your seed sown. He doesn't multiply the seed you keep. He doesn't
multiply the seed you eat. He only multiplies the seed you sow.
Get your
eyes off your circumstances. Demonstrate your faith in God through your seed.
Learn to be quick and yielded to the word of God. Your seed will provoke
increase for you. The law of seed is irrevocable. It is greater than the law of
gravity.
Not sowing
your seed is living in fear. Sowing seed into the kingdom obligates God to your
future. Your giving is a direct invitation for God to get involve in your life
and finances.
There is
that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is
meet, but it tendeth to poverty. Proverb 11:24
Go the word
way. Don't be counted among the doubters.
